Short answer, yes. I've been following 2012 for years, ever since I read Daniel Pinchbeck's mind-bending autobiographical tale, Breaking Open The Head. It detailed his entheogenic experiences that literally "broke open his head" and eventually led to the sequel 2012: Return Of Quetzacoatl. There are some other good books mentioned in this piece, which is the first decent mainstream article I've read on 2012. But Pinchbeck's in the best IMHO. An amazing read which mixes crop circles, alien abductions, Eastern philosophy and shamanic wisdom into an amazingly powerful story. Link.
